I can't actually remember if this is the third or fourth set of pictures I have of this one, but it's what I've got here so have a look. As you can see quite a lot has happened since the last time (part 2)!
The first part was here, and it's always amazing to compare the first few ideas with the (nearly) finished produce as you see here. I've added one hell of a lot of heavy layers of goo which has made it shine rather wonderfully and you can get a bit of an idea of the richness of colour from these untouched snaps but they don't really do justice to the colour and texture of the real thing of course.
It's nice to see how the lines from my poems have become an integral part of the painting, and I'm kind of loathe to do any more which would start to obscure them a bit to much - I'll have to think carefully about my next (and final) move...
It's not quite finished, but I'll be concluding in the next few days, so watch this space if you want to see how it finally ended up.
